Position Summary:

SUMMARY
We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join our office located in West Greenwich, RI.  This position will manage a project from initiation to completion. The successful candidate for this position will be able to utilize project data to make future projects more productive and cost-efficient. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for creating milestone schedules, drafting vendor delivery policies, coming up with accurate cost estimates and delivery of on-time on budget projects. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual that can ensure that each project is completed on time and at or under budget.
 
Project Coordinator – based in West Greenwich, RI
 
PURPOSE

  • Actively manage small facility projects
  • Provide monthly budget reporting to site management
  • Ensure vendor safety, develop required Job Hazard Analysis and Pre-Task Plans
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Coordinating and execution of small facility related projects
  • Develop project schedules, resources and budgets.
  • Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Ensure client needs are met as project evolves
  • Prepare project proposals.
  • Monitor and track project progress and address issues that arise.
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status with all participants
  • Work closely with sub-contractors to ensure safety and project milestones are achieved.
 
KEY INTERACTIONS
  • Internal:  JLL Senior Leadership, JLL Operating Staff, JLL EH&S
  • External:  Client Facility Manager, Client EHS teams, JLL Service Partners, Client Facility & Engineering
 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Associate Degree in Engineering, Project Management or relevant professional experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and EHS programs with facility operations.
  • Experience in biotechnology / pharmaceutical, research or maintenance operations is highly desirable.
  • Success working with subcontractors/vendors supporting mutual safety objectives.
  • Proven track record of success executing high hazard prevention programs; specifically: LO/TO, electrical safety, confined space entry, and fall protection.
 
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a proven record in both interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • High level of computer skills including Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel and Word a must.
