Position Summary:
· Manage all CUC operations and systems
· Review all CUC operating systems, typically through the SCADA system, to ensure that we are meeting the customer requirements for all utility supplies relative to pressure, temperature, and any intrinsic quality measurements.
· Review operating systems to ensure that adequate capacity is available to meet expected loads and that backup equipment is maintained.
· Review weather forecast to assess potential impact on boiler and chiller operation in the next 24 to 72 hours.
· Evaluate routine issues for operations and maintenance and provide direction to employees
· Interact with customer on issues related to plant operation, maintenance, and production support
· Review environmental records to ensure that waste treatment records and hazardous waste inspections are being completed as required.
· Interact as needed with Paint Shop personnel on issues related to service demands and wastewater discharges
· Review process fluids inventories and adjust fluid deliveries as required
· Interface with plant environmental engineers on on-going issues related to discharge compliance, recordkeeping, sampling and testing
· Supervise Hourly Utility Employees
o Time and Attendance reporting
o Distribute preventive maintenance tasks
o Material Procurement
o Safety coordination
· Efficiency improvements:
o Preventive maintenance
o Environmental Compliance
o Quality (Compressed Air, High Purity Water, etc.)
Qualifications Required Ø Two (2) year technical degree in engineering or related field Ø Minimum of one (1) years experience in supervising PH /WWTP Operations Ø Minimum of five (5) years of operating experience in PH/WWTP Operations Ø Good oral, verbal, and interpersonal skills Ø Computer skills – MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. Ø Site specific required certifications / licenses Preferred Ø Relevant licenses for boiler and chiller operation as well as wastewater treatment.
