Position Summary:

SUMMARY
Emergency preparedness for critical environment to include visual controls, documentation, and training preparation. Routine rounds to verify equipment is operating in normal state. Precision cleaning in critical environment. Assist Engineers and Help Desk with tasks as assigned. Support the property and respond to tenant requests.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Demonstrated ability to write concise instruction on how to perform technical procedures
In-depth knowledge or ability to learn various systems that include, but are not limited to: switchgear, generators, uninterruptable power supplies, static transfer switches, power distribution units, precision air conditioners, building maintenance systems, various device control systems
Perform daily technology room rounds
Ability to perform precision cleaning in a critical environment
Maintain good tenant relations through prompt and courteous response to tenant requests within the guidelines set forth by JLL
Track and trend system processes. Enter maintenance requests as required to correct anomalies
Review on a regular basis and prepare to follow all current emergency procedures set forth by JLL and the assigned property

OTHER FUNCTIONS

Maintain ethical, professional and courteous relations with contractors
Act as a team member with all employees of the management staff
Complies with all written JLL and regional company policies
Meet attendance and punctuality requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Associates degree preferred, High School Diploma and/or Vocational School Certificate accepted
Mechanical technical skill that enables the employee to function independently of an engineer more than fifty percent of the time

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Ability to work 24/7/365 4/3/3/4 12-hour schedule with 2-month rotation

Uses proper English when interacting with tenants
Interprets instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form
Communicates essential information needed for decision making
Strong written, oral, and technical knowledge
Ability to become Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various equipment or processes at location
