AT&T Senior Acquisition and Development Planning Engineer is involved in supporting Advance Space Systems Concepts assessment. Architecting is an improved analytic force structure modernization planning activity. The goal of SMC/AD’s cross-enterprise architecting and analysis efforts is to provide high quality decision support products to the SMC and AFSPC senior decision makers for the space acquisition enterprise.

 

 

 

AT&T is seeking hard-working and dependable candidates to support Tactical Operations as a Network Controller/Operator on site at Defense Information Systems Agency Ford Island, HI (DISA PAC).

  • Candidates will provide equipment monitoring and control (M&C), mission establishment, situational awareness, trouble management, engineering and testing support to DoD and Enterprise SATCOM Gateways supporting the DoDIN in DISA’s 24x7 Operations Center (GOC).
  • Candidates are required to report mission outages and/or service interruptions to the DNC Watch Officer or TMD utilizing Active Communication methods outlined in the GSM-O O&M Convergence NetOps guide. DISA works in a performance-based environment where our performance is based on pre-determined Acceptable Levels of Performance (ALP's).
  • Candidate will be "mission essential" and able to support rotating 12, 10, or 8hrs shifts based upon the requirement and resources available.
  • Candidate is required to support the development, documentation and tracking of measurements and metrics relevant to the ALP's.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • IT related experience and a degree in an IT related field
  • Hold DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security CE, CISSP or equivalent)
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision/guidance
  • Experience with one or more of the following: alarm surveillance, fault management, configuration management, LAN maintenance, performance management.
  • General understanding of network topologies, both transport and IP.
  • Ability to work in a team focused, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with one or more of the following Teleport Systems: NetCentric equipment, Global Broadcast Service (GBS), Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) to DISN Subsystem, CITRIX server, IP MODEMS, MUOS Voice Gateway (MVG) and MUOS too Legacy Gateway Component (MLGC), Tactical Edge-Aggregation Router (TE-AR), DVB-RCS, Commercial Internet and Telephone EoIP Enclave (CITEE) Suite, Promina Tactical Mission Support, GVRDS, ISR, UVDS or DISN-TE.
  • Ability to perform troubleshooting, configuration, and restoration of services across multiple platforms (Cisco routers/firewalls, SATCOM modems).
  • Requires experience in one or more of the following Crypto devices: KG-340, KG-175A/D, KIV-7, KIV-19.
  • GTMS/ITSM Remedy: Understands the customer relationship tool which can be used to log/monitor the issues or problems faced by customers by the means of incident management tickets.
  • Understand the functions multiple RFO, and charging the correct Fault Durations Hours to each Fault Category.
  • Supports team members in taking ownership of tickets and updates the Action/Work log (troubleshooting steps performed during the selected course of action).

Desired Experience, Education, and Certifications:
  • IP/Networking experience including hands-on configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and IP Modems
  • Knowledge of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Gateways, call managers, performance enhancing proxies (PEP), and telephony systems
  • Experience in the implementation and delivery of DISN services (VoIP, VoSIP, VTC, NIPR, SIPR)
  • Understanding of Satellite Communications (SATCOM) architecture and signal flow
  • Ability to manage IP over SATCOM networks using iDirect or equivalent FM-TDMS hubs
  • CCNA/CCNP
  • ITIL v3 Foundation certified
