Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for sales and profit achievement for the SBU territory ($11M ) supporting six TAG stores districts in the South Western Division. Districts include the Phoenix, Arizona, Cal-Central, Las Vegas, New Mexico and El Paso. Responsibilities include the development and execution of an aggressive Annual Growth Plans (AGP) designed to accelerate growth in the Aerosol, Applicator, Caulk, Duckback, KoolSeal and Minwax categories within assigned Districts. Responsibilities also include analyzing individual markets within assigned Districts and identifying new end user opportunities to successfully promote the sales of our products. Desired results will be achieved by working closely with SW field sales including joint sales call activity with Sales Representatives and Store Managers as well as Opportunity Account selection and review with District Management teams. This position also requires a strong ability to develop and implement action plans that address any shortfalls relative to the goals that are established.
This position is responsible for all District Pro Show events, District Team training, customer training, Take Aim training, as well as participation in architect/specifier presentations.
Experience Required:
Candidates must have a proven track record of successful sales and profit attainment through effective business plan development and implementation. Prefer candidates have experience successfully managing an outside territory. SW TAG experiences a plus. Position requires strong planning, presentation and organizational skills, negotiation techniques as well as exceptional follow-up skills.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree required but will consider significant sales experience in lieu of a degree.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship.
Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
