Key Responsibilities
 
The PSM Engineer has responsibility and and accountability for the PSM Engineer include but not limited to; provide technical assistance and coordination for the OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) Plan for the facility. Develop a strong PSM support team to drive a sustainable PSM process at the Cleveland facility.  Specific areas of responsibility: schedule and facilitate Process Hazard Analysis and revalidations; ensure Process Safety Information (PSI) is effectively maintained for affected processes; oversight of Mechanical Integrity (MI) and Management of Change (MOC) programs; develop and conduct PSM training for key PSM disciplines and coordinate regulatory inspections and audits. Other areas of focus will include: promote and coordinate employee participation in PSM elements; administer action item tracking for associate PSM programs; provide guidance to the PSM Committee and implement PSM recommendations, procedures changes, etc.
 
Minimum Required Qualifications:
 
B.S. in Chemical Engineering, safety or related science, coupled with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably a chemical manufacturing facility.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
Experience in Process Hazard Analysis.
 
Required Skills:
 

A technical background in manufacturing with excellent coordination abilities, knowledge of OSHA PSM Standards and regulations, sound understanding of engineering principles of qualitative and quantitative risk analysis/assessment, interpersonal, verbal and written communications and presentation skills.
