Key Responsibilities:
As a Production Technician for PPG Industries, your career can have tremendous potential. The world's leading coatings and specialty products company, our facilities are some of the most productive and efficient in our industry. Our Industrial Coatings production hub is a dynamic operation where collaboration and innovation are key, and it makes for a fast-paced, high-energy work environment where you will be continually challenged and encouraged to grow.
Our Production team physically manufactures our high-quality powder coatings, from weighing out raw material components to managing the final extrusion process. Every step of the way, our Production Technicians collect and examine data on the finished products to ensure their quality. As a part of this team, you’ll also take ownership of the many steps required in delivering our best product to the customer every time. You’ll package and label finished product; disassemble, clean and maintain our equipment; and take part in our quality processes. Not only will your work directly contribute to our success, but will also help you gain the skills you need to grow into other positions and career paths within our company, including leadership roles.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Experience in a manufacturing environment using variety of industrial production related equipment preferred
-
Good math skills and mechanical ability
-
Strong attention to detail
-
Solid communication and multi-tasking skills

High School diploma or GED preferred
