The Technical Sales & Service Representative is responsible for the effective and efficient performance of PPG products for the customer. The incumbent will monitor systems and processes, check/control inventories, initiate problem solving resolutions, and effectively communicate with all levels in both the PPG and customer organizations. The TSSR will also review colors / attend outside audits and will support the fascia department.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
High school degree and related work experience.
2-5 years in a technical setting or automotive assembly plant environment.
Color experience a must.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Strong emphasis for Waterborne Technology and Application Processes.
Overall experience and general knowledge with the entire automotive layering system beneficial. Strong computer skills, analytical skills, color shading skills, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
College degree in chemistry, general science, or a related discipline.
