This position is accountable for scheduling batches for forecasted and made to order products for the plant; schedules and transfers the material to distribution centers when required & controls inventory levels in various distribution centers.

 

 
•  Schedules production at the facility
•  Adjusts production schedule to accommodate emergency situations
•  Reviews exception reports to ensure customer service defined by division goals
•  Product availability, order completeness, inventory deployment, transportation costs
•  Issues batch tickets to blending and production floor
•  Researches and reports on any issues regarding batch ticket questions or concerns
•  Updates pull boards to meet customer requirements
•  Orders raw materials and packaging components
•  Maintains systems to ensure accurate information and timely production of product to meet customer service goals
•  Expedite order changes, as needed such as requirement or delivery date changes
•  Maintain accurate records of purchases through system and supply requisites
•  Review acknowledgements of purchase order on a daily basis for any discrepancies
•  Initiate and maintain effective and professional relationships with suppliers
•  Review MRP daily for unusual production to determine inventory quantities and levels
•  Participation towards completion of other related tasks and duties as directed or needed

 

Basic Qualifications:
•  Must be at least 18 years of age
•  Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status  
•  Must have High school diploma or  the equivalent of a high school diploma
•  Must have Bachelor’s Degree or at least 4 years experience in lieu of education

 

Other Qualifications:
•  Demonstrated experience in procurement and scheduling preferred
•  Experience procuring/buying in a manufacturing environment highly desirable
•  Computer Experience (Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) preferred
•  Other computer experience such as QAD, Oracle, SAP would be a plus
•  Ability to effectively prioritize and continually manage multiple demands
•  One or more years experience in Supply Chain preferred
•  Prefer candidates that are willing to relocate for future job opportunities
