The Senior Salesforce Administrator position is responsible for the configuration, and implementation of Salesforce.com (SFDC) applications that support the company business strategies and objectives. This role provides technical consulting to management, business users, and technical associates
Essential Functions
Strategy & Planning
- Acquire and interpret business requirements, creates a functional specification, provide accurate estimates, and meet deadlines on deliverables.
- Work closely with business leadership, business analysts, developers, architects, and other key stakeholders in the design, configuration & build of the SFDC instance.
- Submit and review technical and process improvement recommendations as a member of the technical leadership team.
Acquisition & Deployment
- Perform analysis of business models, logical specifications, and/or customer requirements to design and build Salesforce solutions.
- Provide generalized production technical support.
- Mitigate significant risks associated with projects, which have a high technical complexity and/or involve significant challenges to the business.
Operational Management
- Design and maintain complex user roles, security, profiles, and workflows rules.
- Ensure data integrity through the appropriate use of de-duping and data loading tools for bulk imports of data.
- Assist users with report, query and dashboard creation.
- Manage and maintain reports, dashboards, and email templates.
- Maintain and support custom objects, fields, and applications.
- Guide the team in translating requirements into Salesforce configuration, identifying where custom development/integration may need to occur.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the discovery and investigation of critical production problems as required.
- Partner with business analysts, developers, and application super users to successfully complete projects.
Incidental Functions
- Train and knowledge share with development teams.
- Mentor and coach developers and/or Professional Apprentices.
- Make presentations to management, clients, and peer groups as requested.
- Provide tier 2, on-call support for critical web application problems and issues.
- Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with clients and approval of supervisor.
- Participate in hiring activities and fulfilling affirmative action obligations and ensuring compliance with the equal employment opportunity policy.
- Minimal travel is required
- Work outside the standard office 7.5 hour workday as required.
