Job Duties:

 

  • Assists with development of ad hoc quantitative analyses and statistical models and analyses.
  • Develops tools to speed and automate the production of dashboards, complex models, and analyses.
  • Participates in identifying and scoping analytical efforts that align with priority business opportunities, challenges, and needs.
  • Assists in data collection, cleansing, and validation.
  • Participate in data debugging and troubleshoot efforts.
  • Experience with SQL and thorough understanding of relational databases.
  • Supports the identification of actionable insights and contribute to the development of business recommendations through effective presentations and communication of results.
  • Assists in defining data capabilities and enterprise data roadmap.
  • Maintains Enterprise Data Dictionary.
  • Keep up with emerging technologies and provide beneficial input during technical discussions.

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • BS/BA degree in quantitative related discipline strongly desired (statistics, QM, Computer Science, Economics, Analytics, etc.)
  • Advanced degree in Business, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other analysis related fields preferred
  • 3-6 years of experience in related field
  • Certification in CAP (Certified Analytics Professional) and/or SAS Foundation Certifications (Certified Base Programmer or Advanced Programmer)

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Ability to working on cross-functional analytical projects
  • Operational analytics including application for Merchandising, Call Center, Technical Support, Collections, and Customer Experience Analytics
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL
  • Collaboration – Nurtures and builds effective partnerships with clients to achieve results; team player, comfortable working on multiple teams/projects simultaneously and independently, as needed
