Job Duties:

·         To develop and implement the appropriate sales and marketing strategy to drive customer growth and profitability and achieve divisional sales objectives.

·         Markets merchandise by advertising, sales promotion, and display plans.

·         Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.

·         Maintains professional knowledge by understanding market trends; professional publications; networking; participating in professional societies.

·         Set up and conduct training workshops divisionally, regionally and store level

·         Communicate and reinforce brand strategies and priorities to the team.

·         Provide regular communication and analysis of business results to team management.

·         Leverages tools, reports and insights to make appropriate business decisions that best supports the division. 

·         Analyze operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.

·         Reinforce standards for quality, customer service.

·         Monitor local competitors.

·         Maintains and expands customer base by training and coaching store sales managers and regional managers; identifying new customer opportunities.

·         Insures proper inventory levels (Top Sellers) by working with store manager.

Reporting

  • Reports directly to the Divisional Vice President
  • Supervises Sales Managers and CSR’s within the division 

 

Skills/Qualifications:

·         Goal-oriented, with a proven record of attaining and exceeding company goals

·         Resourceful creative problem-solver, with experience troubleshooting and solving challenges to exceed customer expectations.

·         Sales: Meeting Sales Goals; Motivation for Sales; Presentation Skills; Building Relationships; Negotiating, Results Driven, Sales Planning.

·         Performance Management

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·         Proficient in Microsoft office with a heavy emphasis on Excel.

·         Position routinely requires lifting, loading, and “dolling” merchandise 50-300 pounds
