Interested in becoming a Team Lead, Renewal Retention?  As a Team Lead, Renewal Retention you will train, monitor, and supervise Renewal Retention Associates.  This position is responsible for a file of accounts marked by stores as having civil or criminal action pending against a customer for nonpayment or refusal to return product to our stores.  The position assists stores, regional managers, and divisional managers, when called upon, to aid in skip tracing of customers and various other supporting activities.

Job Duties:

  • Training, supervising, and supporting the activities of Retention Renewal Associates including monitoring of calls, generating productivity statistics, coaching/training associates to maximize productivity, etc.
  • Following up and assisting store, regional, and divisional personnel with cases, civil or criminal filings, in the attempt to liquidate as many cases as possible by skip tracing, locating assets (including employment), and in general, guiding stores through the legal process to maximize recoveries of cash and inventory returns 
  • Assist Director, or other Aaron’s management, with various tasks and assignments, as needed, including the processes associated with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training of new associates

Position Requirements:

  • 3 years’ management/Supervisory experience in a collections environment
  • High School Diploma

May require a college degree with studies in Business Management, depending on experience level

  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Maturity, honesty, integrity and a strong sense of ethics
  • The ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Patience and understanding
  • Ability to be persuasive, persistent and firm
