Key Responsibilities
 
Interprets customer specification to develop test sheets, test reports templates, test reports, can certifications according to customer requirements.  Assists with implementation of quality system requirements.  Maintains calibration system and records to ensure testing and measuring equipment is calibrated according to schedule and reports discrepancies to management.  Performs calibration as necessary.  Contributes to achieving team goals by communicating ideas, suggestions, and assistance, e.g., identifying and communicating ways to save time, effort, and resources.  Assists in purchasing laboratory supplies and equipment.Applies all laboratory safety procedures.  Participates in 5 S activities. Complies with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times.  Performs other tasks as assigned.
 
Experience and Education
 
High school degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.  Chemistry degree desired.  Associate degree desired. Must have at least one year of laboratory or office experience. 
 
 
Functional and Technical Skills
 
Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English.  Must be able to effectively operate electronic, mechanical or manual laboratory equipment requiring precise adjustment of controls for valid results.  Must be able to perform complex level of mathematical operations.  Must be able to operate a personal computer and perform accurate data entry operations.  Must be able to wear required PPE with or without reasonable accommodation
