Manager, Digital (Site) Merchandising - Ann Taylor Factory

About position: The Site Merchandising Manager is responsible for maximizing our Ecommerce business through the development and implementation of  the site merchandise placement strategies that address client needs across all categories for the brand.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Create and implement a strategy for online merchandise, content and product placement and navigation strategy.

·       Partner with the Ecommerce and merchandising teams to lead the implementation of a compelling, well-balanced merchandising, product placement and navigation strategy to support the achievement of product volume and financial objectives.

·       Work with cross-functional teams to develop and execute site roadmapping and navigational strategies, as well as product sequencing

·       Ensure all aspects of site merchandising are on brand, employ best practices, have KPIs to benchmark performance

·       Serve as a key liaison between the business and technical teams to implement new site functionalities and enhancements.

·       Determine and implement appropriate competitive strategies to drive product conversion and reduce return rates.

·       Develop and distribute key reporting metrics for e-commerce sales, gross margin and ROI; make recommendations and decisions based upon results.

·       Leverage competitive research and analyze consumer behavioral characteristics, fashion trends, retail landscape and other relevant data to optimize product placement and content, based on customer path analysis behavior and conversion results.

·       Monitor and assess site analytics and KPIs to inform site strategies.

·       Partner with the web production team to understand and proactively explore functionalities and drive online efficiencies

·       Manage an Associate Site Merchandiser
