Enterprise Learning Lead L&D Consultant
PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Lead Consultant takes a comprehensive approach in achieving Learning Solutions to build critical skills & expertise within the organization.
Working closely with Senior Leaders (often VP ) and business partners you will build and implement Learning strategies that enhance business performance while operating in a dynamic project environment that offers complexity, variety and a diversity of work. You will also work closely alongside team members from the broader Learning and Development team to develop and deploy your learning solutions across the organization.
In your role, you will be responsible for providing key client business support, consulting with leaders to identify learning gaps, partnering with our internal design team to build & deploy strategic learning solutions, and building meaningful measurement plans.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Consulting: Form strategic relationships with client groups and HR business partners. Ability to identify learning needs as it relates to human performance gaps to meet business outcomes. Applies a systemic process of discovery by partnering with the client or leveraging external/industry knowledge. Recommends appropriate learning solutions that address root cause(s) of performance gaps rather than symptoms or side effects. Ensures learning outcomes are met. Evaluates learning solution, monitoring and reporting on impact of learning to ensure effectiveness.
Building Learning Strategies:
Is viewed as a leader within Learning & Development. Proficient in taking learning & development theory and practices and turning them into meaningful learning strategies. Educates, mentors & coaches team members and partners to share learning expertise. Regularly seeks new information on learning methods & technology. Marries adult learning theory/research with the practical business needs of the organization. May at times be called upon to facilitate classroom learning in partnership with the client.
Project Management:
Acts as Project Manager to create effective learning solutions. Creates a project management plan and ensures stakeholder buy-in while also adhering to cost, schedule and performance requirements. Collaborates across L&D to design, create and develop learning solutions to meet the organization’s needs. Manages vendor relationships, hold vendors accountable to contracts, statements of work, and key delivery milestones.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Maintains effective relationships across all company. Strategically uses expertise and experience building partnerships to anticipate and neutralize issues before they arise. Is a communications hub during all phases of the learner experience (design, development, and evaluation). Anticipates change management issues and partners across the business to addresses them. Gathers, organizes and analyzes information regarding the impact of learning solutions against key business drivers.
Managing Learning Programs: Understands the holistic view of the learning ecosystem. Partners and collaborates with the client on an on-going basis to maintain a sustained business relationship. Maintains the integrity of learning programs as it relates to time/cost/quality. Strives to meet evolving learning needs in the business, not just training solutions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· College Graduate
· 8 years of related work experience
· Strong consulting, project management & coaching experience
· Strong interpersonal/communication skills
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS
· Experience working with Senior Level Executives
· Experience in Management Consulting or Executive Coaching
· Experience in Learning & Development work
· Advanced degree in education, instructional design, or human resource development
