- Build technical solutions based on client's needs and process requirements
- Deliver solutions using Agile software and DevOps development processes
- Provide the technical leadership for designing, building, and testing the functions for Target's ITSM platform (i.e. ServiceNow)
- Participate in construction activities ensuring architectural and operational requirements are met
- Coordinate the diagnose, isolation and de-bugging of ServiceNow software problems and perform problem resolution
- Collaborate with team to promote re-use and develop consistent technical build, implementation and support processes
- Drive understanding of development principles and practices across the organization
- Develop software and systems utilizing test driven development and continuous integration practices
- Audit data integration and loading processes and monitor data anomalies
- Follow continuous improvement best practices by identifying and diagnosing improvement opportunities
- Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work with a limited set of requirements
- Innovate constantly and maintain a technical edge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years total work experience
- Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise
- Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
Desired Skills
- 2-4 years’ experience with Web Technologies (JavaScript, Twitter Bootstrap, Node JS, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP) in a SaaS environment
- 3 years’ experience with Agile software development (Scrum, Extreme Programming, Kanban)
- Experience with ETL processes, API integration, SQL databases and Open Source code
- Experience integrating internal and external (SaaS based) applications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containers (GitHub, Drone, Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker)
- 2-4 years’ ServiceNow development experience
- ServiceNow System Admin, Application Developer certifications
