Overview:
 
Macy's Logistics & Operations in Joppa, Maryland is a distribution center that provides outstanding customer service.  We are conducting a search for a talented Manager of Customer Returns Center, who is motivated to assist the Director to provide leadership to the entire distribution function.   
 
Essential Functions:
  • Manage, coach, develop and provide leadership for associates on a daily basis.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping maintenance for associates.
  • Ensure adherence to all ML&O Standard Practices.
  • Monitor and review expenses / budgets.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communications to divisions, and other management.
  • Process transfer requests submitted by buyers/planners.
  • Move CRC shipments through the various system stages for processing.
  • Investigate and resolve CRC disputes with divisions and vendors resulting from receipt and shipment issues.
  • Any other responsibilities management deems necessary.
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Education/Experience:
  • Leadership /teamwork skills.
  • Monitor productivity.
  • Auditing to ensure integrity standards on inbound and outbound processing.
  • Implementation of work schedules.
  • Monitoring of work practices to ensure clean and safe work environment.
  • Work harmoniously and effectively with others as part of a team.

  • Communication skills verbal and written.
  • Good Negotiating skills.

  • Prior DC Experience. 
Work Hours:
  • Flexible, team player, willing to work extra hours when necessary due to workload.
