Principal Java Software Engineer

As part of the Mobile Software Engineering Group you will develop highly scalable data driven Rest Web Services that are tailored for mobile applications. You will be working in a collaborative, encouraging, and fast paced environment with challenges of continuously improving customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop customer facing applications
- Participate in designing highly scalable and reliable systems
- Review requirements and translate them into development plans
- Production support and trouble shooting in timely manner
- Load test the system based on real world client usage pattern
- Research and evaluate new technologies and approaches
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and create customer focus solutions
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, or related field required.

Java/J2EE Specialist with 5-10 years of development experience

Thorough understanding of Core Java, Spring, Eclipse, Maven, JUnit

Experience developing and supporting high performance RESTful web services

Experience with Microservices & Cloud Native Applications

Experience developing and supporting Java applications on Linux platform
- Good understanding of HTTP and related networking concepts
-
Experience with customer facing and event driven applications

Experience with various tools around CICD and Developer Portals

Experience with reporting and client side monitoring

Experience with NoSQL and/or Distributed Caching frameworks is preferred
-
Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk or Appdynamics is a plus
- Offshore coordination is nice to have
