Lead Web Analytics Manager

This position Analyzes website data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of website traffic and website behavior patterns.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Experiment, build, pilot, and test innovative solutions and models to enable quick evaluation, insight, and value. Uses statistics to build models and predict business outcomes and explain data analytically. Explore data using mathematical techniques and visual techniques to uncover patterns, correlations, insights, and value.  Uses visualization to make complex information clear   

1.            Additional advanced experience in creating dynamic and interactive visualizations in Tableau

2.            Experience creating dynamic visualization with d3.js

3.            Ability to present complex information and data into concise, intuitive, and dynamic visuals

4.            Experience working with python, SAS and/or R, specifically for data analysis and visualization analysis

5.            Creative ability, experience with art illustration and/or scientific illustration a plus

6.            Mastery of visualization concepts and techniques (choosing the correct visual for the data, dos and don’ts, color palates, esthetics, etc.)

 
 
 

Analyzes website behavior patterns using metric tools to review and optimize business results and user experience. Guides improvement efforts for company website using behavioral analysis. Applies statistics based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations. Supports web development evaluations with web analytical information. Compiles information and analyzes qualitatively and quantitatively, developing models and conducting follow up and data verification as needed. Designs, develops, and reviews detailed reports that indicate performance and opportunities for improvement. Participates as a project team member in cross- department and cross-channel improvement projects. Creates dashboards and scorecards to communicate actual performance towards vendor goals and corporate finance plan of record. Possesses general knowledge of business operations, objectives, and strategies as well as business process and information flow, and diverse technologies. General understanding of re-engineering issues and challenges. Utilizes analytical tools such as SAS, Business Objects, SQL, and JavaScript. Proficient skills in financial planning, analysis, forecasting, engineering, math, and statistics. Typically requires proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture. Works on complex projects and may assist less experienced peers. Education: Preferred Bachelor degree or equivalent experience. Experience: Typically requires 5 to 9 years’ experience.
