Job Contribution: Senior level technical expertise.
Education: Required: PhD, Masters or Bachelor’s degree in an approved field such as Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Mathematics from an accredited university. Refer to the Technical Title Plan for a complete list of degrees.
Experience: PhD in an approved field with no minimum years of relevant experience or Masters in an approved field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or a Bachelors in an approved field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Technical Career Pathway (TCP) role.
Knowledge of emerging public safety technologies (MCV, GCSE, ProSe,MC-PTT) with the ability to analyze challenges in the design and application of new technologies .
Knowledge/Experience in RF Design, Planning & Engineering using industry relevant tools. Knowledge and experience with E911/CALEA and location based design/services. Working level proficiency of small cell architecture and backhaul design.
Has ability to design/engineer for cloud environment and in depth knowledge of SDN/NFV technologies.
