Cybersecurity Engineer Level 1 (Government)

 AT&T is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Global Public Sector team. As a Cybersecurity Research Engineer Level 1, you will assist in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of complex and diverse cloud–based software systems across AT&T networks and labs. In this position, you will work as a member of a collaborative, experienced technical team. This includes interaction with cross-functional peers in AT&T, vendors, and customers. Personable people with excellent collaborative skills and time management will thrive in this position

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar field from an accredited university.
• Desire to learn and solve challenging problems
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

Preference will be given to candidates with one or more of the following:

• Basic programming in Python, Java, C, C , MATLAB/Octave, or other software language
• Solid understanding of Linux operating system principles
• Knowledge and experience with TCP/IP
• Knowledge of cloud-based software systems
• Knowledge of cybersecurity tools and techniques (ethical hacker)
• Mobile app development (Android or iPhone)

Clearance: US Citizen with willingness to obtain a security clearance.
