Senior Product Marketing Manager, Communications

In this marketing role you’ll develop marketing and communication programs with the aim of improving customer retention for strategic subscription based service with the AT&T Entertainment Group. Success of programs are measured by churn improvement and reduction of customer calls and customer store visits.

 

You’ll manage these projects/programs from initiation through delivery, to include all aspects of marketing communications for programs. You’ll develop, execute and monitor integrated communications programs on behalf of a specific business line in support of the strategic business objective.

 

The successful candidate will:

  • Acquire, examine, and analyze business data to determine support of business hypotheses. Business cases and analysis may be developed with the business analytics team
  • Work in parallel to identify operational path and business requirements to realize the optimal customer experience for these offers/programs
  • Identify the project requirements by applying project management skills, tools, and techniques to manage the project scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risk
  • Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to champion project/program(s) across the entire organization
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports
  • Conduct program meetings for program tracking and analysis
  • Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project/program deliverables
  • Manage the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
  • Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems
  • Communicate to client/vendors/leadership
  • Interface with company management, analytics and insights teams, and/or other internal and external business partners to design and develop program, overcome challenges and achieve business goals
  • Maintain working knowledge of various company products, procedures and support organizations to execute on opportunities and grow them
  • Evaluate impact of strategic marketing programs, communications, against planning objectives and forecasts

The background of the successful candidate includes:

  • 5 years strategic planning, marketing communications and experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills and proven ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Proven record of developing and executing profitable marketing campaigns and/or marketing programs
Desired:
  • Knowledge of wireless, internet and/or TV terminology, products, and services
  • Knowledge of entertainment industry and terminology
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar discipline; MBA is ideal
