The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, staffing, and budgets to ensure the timely delivery of contractual commitments to the government.
Performance shall include:
Responsibility for management of all aspects of a major Air Force Special Security Support contract to include leadership, technical performance, personnel and financial performance;
Direct and supervise all personnel issues to include interviewing, hiring, evaluating performance and determining proper compensation;
Organize and oversee technical performance on the contract and ensure delivery of all required deliverables;
Communicate daily with peers within the business unit as well as customers, Site Leads and Senior Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to identify and resolve problems and challenges to ensure sound execution of contracted effort to include successfully resolving issues requiring senior level (government and corporate) attention;
Travel (sometimes frequent) to various program sites as necessary to ensure sound program execution; Identify, develop, and implement efficiencies that enhance productivity and/or reduce overall contract costs to the government
5 years of program/project experience including specific experience with the Air Force SAP community. 10 years of experience in the Special Access and/or SCI communities in positions of increasing responsibility. Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years). Must be familiar with security policy/manuals and the appropriate ICDs/JAFANs/DOD Manuals and other guiding policy documents. Skill in professional planning, organizing, training and evaluation of training efficacy. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; write comprehensive studies; and maintain good working relationships. Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; message distribution/retrieval programs; and Analyst Notebook.
Required Clearance: Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility. Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information. Willingness to submit to a polygraph
