Network Architect (Government)

AT&T - Monterey, California

  • Provides technical direction and engineering expertise for network systems infrastructure activities, including planning, designing, and implementing communications and network infrastructure requirements for buildings and systems.
  • Ensures that adequate and appropriate planning is provided to direct building architects and planners in building network and communications spaces, and that media pathways meet industry standards. Interfaces with internal and external customers and vendors to determine network and communications infrastructure needs.
SECRET clearance or ability to obtain SECRET clearance required. US citizenship is also required due to the sensitive nature of this Department of Defense contract.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a curriculum or major field of study which provides substantial knowledge useful in the development and administration of network and communications infrastructure requirements, and/or in an Information Systems, engineering or electronics intensive discipline or an applicable training certificate from an accredited training institution.

And/Or

Experience Requirements:

Have six years of experience designing, building, and maintaining communications infrastructure systems

This position is available in Monterey California (Naval Postgraduate School IT contract support).
