Evaluate requirements and recommend available DBMS products.
Perform database and software life-cycle activities to ensure highest level of system performance and availability.
Provide server administration with a variety of database products that include Oracle, SQL Server, and SYBASE
Communicate clearly and concisely with team members, management, and possibly customers.
Under direct supervision, work on project tasks and assist more experienced project managers.
Track efforts to meet project requirements by applying project management skills, tools, and techniques to manage the project scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risk.
Work as a team member on projects responsible for completing basic project management tasks. Project tasks are typically well defined and less complex in nature, and follow a repeatable framework.
Work from detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status reports created by a higher-level project manager or supervisor.
Attend project meetings and be responsible for project task tracking. Prepare reports and graphs to reflect status
Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables.
Entry position. Strong communications skills both orally and written. Experience as a DBA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional DBA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
Required Clearance: Candidate must be a US Citizen and able to obtain clearance
