Principal-Wireless System Architect

This role is responsible for end to end IT Architecture and Solutions for Cricket Business:
 
  • Develop solutions that assist business in managing major business processes in their overall enterprise structure.
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of one or more industries, trends, and solutions. Collaborates and confers with the customer in the strategic design process and translates business needs into technical system solutions.
  • Demonstrates technical expertise in Architecture Roadmaps, systems integration and BSS/OSS platforms.
  • Determines the availability and viability of third party components and services as needed.
  • Validates third party components comply with established architecture.
  • Develops and design specifications for products and technologies.
  • Develops solution specifications for products and technologies.
  • Leads, guides and reviews designs for quality control and test procedures to ensure the deliverables meet established design and performance goals.
  • Works with cross functional IT teams including delivery and operation to define requirements and solutions.
  • Validates design proposals meet the customer’s needs. Identifies, analyzes, and evaluates alternative design solutions.
  • Approves integrated systems design proposals for technical content.
  • Works with delivery team to Establishes cost and time estimates for implementation.
  • Monitors the implementation for technical correctness to ensure the customer needs are met.
  • Creates recommendations and implements new methods, techniques, and/or procedures.
  • Works with business owners to understand direction and provide guidelines and standards for solutions in this domain and roadmap solutions toward a Cricket and AT&T target state architecture.
  • Collaborates with Tech Dev STA on building reusable business solutions that will work not only for Cricket but for a wide variety of additional business units further expanding key common platforms to reduce TCO, decrease TTM and increase quality of deliverables.
  • 5 years of wireless experience
  • Proven success on integration of multiple platforms across different technologies and suppliers
  • Familiar with standard software, Architecture, design & development practices
  • Strong customer focus and ability to drive to an “effortless” experience for front line and customers
  • Teaming and interpersonal skills to support communication with technical peers/superiors & cross functional peers/superiors
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Capable of forecasting a schedule for critical deliverables to support critical initiatives and cross functional team management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering minimum.
