Senior Specialist Security Admin (Government)

The Government Solutions (GS) Senior Security Specialist position provides advanced professional security support across a broad spectrum of security disciplines, (e.g.,personnel, physical, procedural, information/IT, communications security/COMSEC) to enable diverse GS activities and personnel executing USG contracts and business development in Fairborn, OH.

The position requires extensive knowledge and experience with all security disciplines, interrelated with knowledge of/experience with multiple USG agency industrial security policies, procedures and processes. The position operates independently from the supervisor, and serves as primary security consultant/advisor to AT&T GS senior program managers in the office, as well as a diverse staff of managers and technical experts executing current contracts and developing future business.

The position measurably contributes to GS contract/business success through responsibilities which include: serving as the official, USG-mandated Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) and Facility Security Officer (FSO) for AT&T GSI;
  • developing/executing physical/procedural security plans/programs;
  • providing personnel security support (to include acquisition and maintenance of clearances at varying levels) to work forces;
  • counseling GS personnel on personal circumstances related to clearance issues;
  • performing critical COMSEC custodian functions;
  • partnering with program management and GS Security colleagues to identify and resolve potential risks to sensitive GS and customer operations;
  • maintaining and exploiting relationships with customer security authorities to facilitate security issues important to GS business.

The Senior Specialist Security Admin must be effective at establishing and juggling job priorities. Teaming/interpersonal skills are essential. Experience preferred includes a minimum of five years as a manager of USG Industrial Security and special access programs/relationships; demonstrable in-depth knowledge of, and success in, managing multidisciplinary high security processes, and in ensuring compliance with corporate USG procedures, regulations and policies. Successful FSO training through the Defense Security Training Academy or comparable USG personnel/physical security professional training is required. Local travel to/from Wright-Patterson, Air Force Base, Ohio maybe required. Current TS/SCI with Polygraph accepted by multiple USG agencies is an absolute requirement.
At least 5 years experience in program, physical, and personnel government security with knowledge of DoDMs, NISPOM, and ICDs

Required Clearance: TS/SCI

Desired: Experience as DoD Facility Security Officer. Experience in physical security, personnel security, technical security, network security, industrial security, operational security and communications security.
