JOB POSITION:       Senior Engineer

LOCATION:             33 South 6^th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55402

DUTIES:                    Design and build enterprise level highly scalable and performing software solutions, taking the solution through the entire Software Development Life Cycle from requirements gathering, architecture and design to implementation; participate in physical design and development of software, including coding, unit testing, integration testing, building infrastructure and deployment pipelines; diagnose, isolate, and de-bug software problems and perform problem resolution; monitor systems capacity and performance; provide preventative maintenance and resolve problems to ensure stability; and guide developers through the software product development lifecycle. Tools and technologies used include: Java, Groovy, JavaScript, Hadoop Stack i.e. HDFS, Hive, Oozie, SQL, JEE, UNIX, Shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Spring MVC, AngularJS, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Netflix OSS, REST Frameworks, Postgres, MongoDB, Gradle, Maven, Git, Spock, JUnit, Jasmine, Elastic Search, and IntelliJ IDEA.

REQUIREMENTS:  This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related technical field and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience in software development (any title) working on product development in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle using Java, Groovy, JavaScript, HDFS, Hive, Oozie, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Netflix OSS, Postgres, REST, MongoDB, Gradle, Maven, Git, Spock, JUnit, Jasmine, and Elastic Search.
