Review daily price changes and to insure adequate staffing to to sign the store. Audit the set up and take corrective action based on findings; review with Store Management.

 

Develop and implement schedule to verify and audit all signs throughout the store for placement and accuracy. Ensure all each/case price correlations are accurate. Ensure all issue are input in to the Store Reported Issue (SRI) Site daily. Follow up on any issues that are not addressed in a timely manner.

 

Verify and audit all blaster tags (100 items each day) and catch weight items on a daily basis to ensure accurate labelling.

 

Update large grey signs as needed and audit for accuracy each day.

 

Ensure that all items that are out of stock, have a temporary out of stock tag that is properly filled out with expected replenishment date, and notify management of all out of stocks.

 

Ensure that nutritional information is posted along with COO information on products that need it.

 

Ensure the green dots on signs are kept current.

 

Complete monthly planogram audits to assure all products are signed correctly.

 

Daily correct all issues collected by cashiers for missing, or mis priced items.

 

Remove any outdated or damaged product from the selling floor, and correct any mis-rotated product.

 

Ensure all items that have GTINs and UPCs are entered in to the SRI Site on a daily basis. Follow up on any issues that are not addressed in a timely manner.

 

Partner with the Inventory Control Lead (ICL) and Department Leads to insure all short dated product is marked down and yellow tagged in accordance with CHEF’STORE Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Duties include determining price, distributing yellow tags, and assisting in sales promotion (signing and marketing of product). Audit markdowns daily to determine if further reductions are needed.

 

Actively participate in quatarly inventory prep, as well as physical inventories.

 

Develop and implement schedule to ensure all Sales Promotions are set up and signed appropriately. Audit promotion three times a week to ensure promotion integrity is maintained.

 

Partner with Store Management and Marketing to ensure all Marketing materials; institutional signing, and promotional materials are implemented and executed in accordance with corporate directives.

 

Ensure all Human Resources Boards, Labor Materials, and Communication Board in maintained in accordance with CHEF’STORE SOPs.

Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

 

Related Experience: A minimum of five years experience with inventory control or related experience.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally, strong math skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, basic computer skills. Must be able to work on complex tasks, prioritize workload and advise others in department on workflow. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to be a resource to others in the division.
