In this role the project manager will be responsible for driving project plans to ensure all marketing efforts are executed on time, on budget and in an efficient manner. This role will lead a large multi-channel campaign inclusive of TV, radio, print, social, digital, and out of home. This person will work cross functionally to lead the successful development of guest-centric marketing materials across marketing channels including; weekly ad, signing, site placement, cartwheel, shopper marketing, and communications.
This individual will manage and nurture relationships with key internal and external partners, and understand the key stakeholders of the work to bring them along at the right moments.
Finally, this role will be responsible for multi-faceted sports marketing work that is ambiguous, and in its infancy stage of development. Working across several leagues with different creative teams will be critical to the success of the project. Ability to be collaborative, solution oriented, and resilient are important requirements for this role with the large number of unknowns.
Responsibilities
Strategically manage project plans and appropriately engage key business partners, while maintaining organizational agility
Responsible for creating multiple project work plans, revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Responsible for finding efficiencies across project work plans to ensure work is done in the most productive way
Ensure strong working relationships with key stakeholders: Marketing Brand and Category partners, Internal and External Agencies, Merchandising and Vendor partners, internal Production partners, channel owners, and third-party vendors
Lead the approval process and minimize risk to Target by ensuring legal compliance
Serve as the project communications hub and facilitate connections to identify solutions and gain alignment across all functions
Collaborate with outside partners to orchestrate logistics of a photo shoot(s) from product planning through post production
Demonstrate subject matter expertise and understanding of requirements for marketing and media channels
Maximize speed to market by identifying gaps in processes and driving improvements where applicable
Anticipate partner needs and expectations
Make real time decisions to best keep partners and the work moving forward
Ability to problem-solve and quickly implement solutions for large fast-paced bodies of work
