Target Media Network activates where ecommerce and advertising intersect, offering robust digital advertising solutions with the goal of helping our guests find and discover brands, deals and trends they love. We help advertisers connect with Target guests on Target.com, across our other owned and operated platforms and on 150 premium sites through Bullseye Marketplace. Everything we do begins with the guest, including our approach to advertising.
As a Sr. Category Account Manager, you’ll drive the creative strategy and creative oversight for all digital vendor monetized programs from concept through program launch. You will be required to identify and develop talent; lead working teams and contractors to deliver on creative strategy, operational needs and expense management for the accounts and clients that support the category of business. A critical thought partner internally, you will be relied upon to be a client-facing Target brand steward supporting merchandising and marketing priorities for your assigned category/vertical. This client-centric leader must also promote productivity and efficiency in the work and partner with Sales, Agencies, Brands, Creative partners and Target's Key, JBP and Innovator vendors to uncover growth opportunities. This position reports to the Director, TMN Category Account Management and Operations. About you:
Bachelors’ degree B.A. /B.S or equivalent work experience.
7-10 years Account Management or Content Strategy in the Digital space with ability to manage multiple large projects.
Team Leadership experience or aptitude preferred
Demonstrated ability to build and maximize relationships with both internal and external partners.
Ability to articulate and translate client objectives and lead team with creative assignment.
Be creative ambassador and steward of the Target brand. Build a culture of creative thinking and innovation.
Strong understanding of digital and social platforms as well as their use in marketing.
