AT&T Cybersecurity Consulting seeks a professional delivery consultant to provide Internet of Things (IoT) security services as a trusted advisor to US and global clients. This position will be focused on providing guidance around security and privacy standards and best practices to our portfolio of Fortune 500 clients, conducting security assessments and recommendations, and working with the practice leadership to keep abreast of developments in the IoT security space both strategically and technically.
Job Duties:
Work on IoT device, network, platform, and application security engagements for our customers involving segmentation and optimization, detailed assessment, and next-generation transformation and design recommendations.
Manual and automated configuration analysis for security weaknesses in IoT environments.
M2M, VoIP, Cellular, WiFi, Cloud, Datacenter architectures, as well as network design and analysis will also be preferred.
Write objective, detailed reports explaining security issues and propose remediations thoughtfully incorporating AT&T IoT products, services, and consulting capabilities.
Collect network topology diagrams. Identify business requirements and drivers.
Run automated tools to identify and discover IoT devices and environment.
Evaluate IoT environments and facilities for best practices, industry standards, security frameworks, regulatory and compliance measures, and ability to support new technology growth.
Review network diagrams and planned modifications to the current architecture. Identify any gaps and potential risk areas.
Interview key personnel responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure.
Analysis of risks and business impact. Development of deliverables including reports and presentations.
Desired Qualifications:
Previous IoT/M2M experience.
Extensive knowledge of cellular networking (GSM, 3GPP)
Knowledge of security frameworks.
Experience with connected devices in Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, Finance, Industrial, or Government solutions.
Pen testing of IoT hardware, devices, network, and applications
Knowledge of at least 1 scripting language
Understanding of IoT devices types and architectures (ARM based)
Interpreted languages (python, php, Ruby, etc)
Compiled languages (c,c , Java,assembly)
Network security concepts
Linux, Unix internals
Reverse engineering malware, data obfuscators
Ability to code and review source code
Able to understand and quickly learn complex, new technologies
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge and experience with risk and compliance assessments
SCADA / Control systems network experience a plus
VoIP Infrastructure knowledge a plus
Ability to work independently and also collaborating closely with application developers, engineers and others.
Effective written, oral communication skills, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong communications skills to be able to interact with technical and non-technical colleagues.
Knowledge of the latest security threats, techniques and exploits targeting vulnerabilities of Internet of Things environments and Connected Devices
Thorough understanding of computer networking and the OSI model
Cyber-threat research, reporting and development/implementation of risk mitigation strategies a plus
Demonstrated knowledge and experience evaluating IT process areas, such as logical and physical access, program development, change management, IT operations etc.
Strong task management skills and ability to multi-task.
Detail oriented and analytical.
Ability to travel
