Security Security System Technician 1 (Government)

AT&T - COLUMBIA, Maryland

Job requires an installer with proven experience of installation and configuration of wiring solutions. Preference will be given to candidates with installation of physical security systems. Demonstrated use of power and hand tools is an essential requirement.

• Candidate may be called upon to assist in preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and collection of maintenance and performance information for record purposes.
• Candidate will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance, alteration, and repair of: intrusion detection systems (IDS), access control systems (ACS), closed circuit TV (CCTV), uninterruptible power systems (UPS), Networks and computer systems. The candidate may be required to lead a small installation team.
• Candidate will be required to support installation work at other locations.
• Must be willing to work irregular hours and willing to travel for short periods of time, if required.
• No relocation is authorized.
• Specific knowledge of Lenel based security systems is preferred, but not required

Required Skills, Experience, and Education: 3 years of installation experience with an associate’s degree in a technical field, experience of 4-years or more is acceptable substitute for degree requirements.

Required Clearance: TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Desired: Fully cleared Installer with background in security systems.
