POSITION OVERVIEW:

Visual Market Managers manage brand consistency within all store types in an assigned market. Their responsibility is to act as a resource and trainer of the merchant mindset, communicating global messages that will drive sales through improving our in-store experience.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Ensure brand and visual merchandising consistency is upheld in the identified market.

• Invest in store teams; reinforce brand standards and the use of best practices consistently throughout the market.

• Assess market and store opportunities; make decisions, develop merchandising solutions and provide direction to DMs and SMs to drive top line sales.

• Provide feedback, solutions, and ideas regarding execution of store presentation.

• Leverage brand supported tools to effectively support stores with concept flows, windows, and business strategies using discretion to make changes based on store specific layouts.

• Deliver in-season and seasonal hindsight feedback relating to product, presentation and competition to DM and store teams.

• Virtually lead store teams through visual merchandising directives, and leverage technology to check for understanding (photos, FaceTime, etc).

• Facilitate seasonal presentation workshops, meetings and conference calls within their market.

• Identify and develop visual talent to build visual merchandising skills in the market.

• Build constructive, effective relationships with RVP, RVM, and DM to align visual merchandising and brand initiatives.

• Communicate with peers and relevant business partners to share creative ideas and best practices that will maximize the overall business results.

• Participate in and support the success of store openings.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum three years retail visual management experience in a multi-store capacity.
• Excellent visual and merchandising skills and a strong ability to interpret visual presentation direction.
• Strong understanding of the customer and how visual merchandising supports an exceptional client experience while driving business.
• Ability to influence at all levels with clear communication
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Proven success building, leading, motivating, and developing teams.
• Proven problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and organize.
• Knowledge of the competition, the industry and market.
• Relevant computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel) and digital camera skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel to meet the needs of the business.
