Job Overview:
 
We are looking for a hands-on digital analyst and natural search optimization (SEO) professional. This individual should be well versed in on-page, off-page and technical SEO tactics with a thorough background working with organic tactics and creative workflows. Monitor and measure organic traffic performance and reporting insights. Understand SEO best practices, including how technical issues affect the performance of a site on search engines
 
The ideal candidate would have excellent problem solving skills and an expert understanding of SEO issues involving information architecture; semantic keyword research; search friendly content; and metrics-driven SEO. Strong communication skills are essential in this role, as the Manager will be integral in socializing SEO across a diverse, dual-coastal team of executives. 
 
Strong research skills required; you are curious, have an analytical mindset and are extremely detail-oriented.
 
Perform other duties as assigned. 
 
Essential Functions:
 
• Drive the SEO initiatives through the analysis of existing content, competitive research, and partnership with internal team partners.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of SEO strategies in generating increased web traffic and organic revenue across various events.
• Work closely with Product team, Site Merchandise and Merchants to ensure consistency in SEO strategy, implementation across multiple family of businesses and doing hind sighting/ performance measurement.
• Work with internal SEO project team, Product Marketing and external SEO agencies to help create SEO roadmap, enhancements and innovations to drive large scale sales growth.
• Monitor digital marketing trends and developments, share new techniques with the team, and provide SEO education and training to the larger organization.
• Highly proficient and knowledgeable with excel (including pivot tables and complex formulas) and able to extract trends from a large pool of data.
• Work closely with internal Finance teams to manage campaign budgets, invoices and planning strategies.
• Consistently demonstrates regular, dependable attendance & punctuality. 
 
Decision Making:
• Track record of successfully implementing SEO strategies with a goal of increasing traffic and revenue.
• This position will drive the SEO strategy for Apparel-related pages, evangelize SEO across the organization and work cross-functionally with multiple teams to ensure success.
 
Reporting:               
• Create visualizations, dashboards, reports, presentations, and analyses that explain what happened and why.
 
Qualifications:
 
Education/Experience:
 
• BA/BS in Marketing with a strong understanding of SEO or BA/BS in Engineering or similar technical discipline or relevant work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in SEO and/or online marketing with a successful track record, either in-house or at an agency/consultancy.
• 2-3 years of experience in marketing within an agency or retail organization.
• Experience with BrightEdge or other SEO reporting tools preferred.
• Experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics preferred.
 
Communication Skills:
 
• Strong communication and presentation skills are essential in this role as well as excellent written and verbal skills.
• Related tasks include developing relationships and socializing SEO strategies across a diverse, dual-coastal team of executives.
 
Mathematical Skills:
 
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills are required, preferably with experience in Microsoft Excel or similar applications.  
 
Reasoning Ability:
 
• Ability to execute on multiple projects while closely measuring the impact of each project and changing course when needed. 
• Strong project management and inter-departmental coordination skills required. 
 
Other Skills:
 
• Strong leadership profile and management skills with minimum of 1 year of experience managing direct reports.
• Highly analytical in nature.
 
Work Hours:
 
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
