Principal/Architect Front End Software Engineer - JavaScript

Position Summary:

In an ideal future team-mate, we are looking for someone who can help us invent the next generation of ecommerce; develop integrated experiences that leverage our ecosystem, and our newly built app platform to sell anything, to anyone, anywhere in the world. In this role you will get to work with latest languages in JavaScript world and other related technologies to design and develop high-performance adaptive applications. You will be responsible for laying the foundation for Wal-Mart’s future responsive application global platform as well as proposing solutions to speed up software development, improve deployment and monitoring practices. You are someone who enjoys working in cross-functional team environment, lead complex initiatives, mentor senior and junior engineers and also have interest in hands on development. You will get opportunity to work closely with engineering; business and product teams to help define business and technology roadmaps and suggest solutions that help organization make right technology decisions

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 6 years experience building scalable ecommerce applications or mobile software

Principal/Architect Front End SW Engineer - 10+ years Development Experience Needed

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related field)
· 5+ years experience implementing scalable web and mobile online applications and 3+ years of experience as front end architect role
· Expert level understanding of object-oriented JavaScript, building large JavaScript applications with a focus on site speed
· Experience developing web application frameworks, HTML, DOM, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and solving cross-browser compatibility and client-side performance optimization issues
· Experience with version control systems - Git and Git Hub, standard tools for optimizing and testing code
