Senior Director, U.S. Ecommerce Regulatory Compliance

Position Summary:

Directs and oversees eCommerce compliance risk identification and mitigation by reviewing and assessing new and emerging issues; evaluating
industry-related trends and concerns and the potential impact on Walmart eCommerce business; consulting with eCommerce executive leaders on
compliance risk exposure; advising and collaborating with strategic planning teams to develop strategies to manage identified opportunities; directing
the creation of new compliance policies and programs to address changing needs; ensuring the development of training programs for eCommerce
compliance to ensure industry and Walmart best practices are incorporated into daily business operations; and evaluating and monitoring risk
mitigation success.

Oversees multiple eCommerce compliance area programs (for example, Consumer Protection, Anti-Money Laundering, Privacy) by serving as the
compliance liaison for the eCommerce business; identifying industry trends; ensuring inclusion of strategic aspects of compliance programs in
business planning and strategies resulting from agreements entered into with regulatory agencies and third parties; managing alignment of
department's objective with business needs and regulatory requirements; ensuring appropriate controls, resources, and organizational support are in
place to identify, assess, and mitigate emerging risks; overseeing regulatory audits and examinations to minimize impact on business operations;
negotiating agreements for third-party compliance reviews, consulting engagements, and technology development initiatives; and communicating
goals, direction, and expectations of high standards for compliance to suppliers and service providers.

Drives business growth and the reduction in compliance integration barriers by providing and leveraging subject matter expertise on regulatory
compliance risks and regulatory influence; benchmarking and communicating with senior leaders of government agencies and industries; leading
industry or government groups to directly influence industry and regulatory compliance practices; driving costs out of compliance through strategies
designed to promote technology and operational enhancements; directing execution of compliance activities for the eCommerce business; influencing
business-supplier relationships to improve compliance, reduce cost of compliance, and reduce compliance risks; and directing efforts designed to
position eCommerce compliance programs as best in class

Qualifications:

5 years supervisory experience.
Law degree and 3 years experience in compliance, government relations, policy development, risk assessments or related field OR Bachelor s degree in Business, Government Relations, Pre-law or related field and 6 years experience in compliance, government relations, policy development, risk assessments or related field OR 10 years experience in compliance, government relations, policy development, risk assessment or related field.
