Senior Accountant - Supply Chain
Walmart - SAN BRUNO, CA
Position Summary:
- Contributes as a business and financial consultant on inventory-related projects
- Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in inventory business systems and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
- Documents and creates systems, operations, accounting, and reporting flows for medium-scale business processes
- Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
- Participates in physical inventory process
- Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
- Recommends business or systemic solutions for assigned accounts (for example, ending inventory, merchandise accounts payable)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting required
2-5 years of relevant accounting experience (Big 4 or Fortune 500 preferred)
Good working knowledge of Excel, Access, SAP and Essbase
Must understand and be able to apply basic accounting concepts and US GAAP principles
MBA/CPA preferred
