Merchandise Planner

Walmart - SAN BRUNO, CA

Position Summary:

• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in merchandise planning and replenishment and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
• Drives item-level replenishment within complex and high-growth merchandise categories
• Maintains and executes financial plans and open-to-buy (OTB) forecasts for Merchandise Department
• Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
• Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
• Supports the continuous development of financial strategies for complex merchandise categories

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in planning, buying, replenishment, finance or related field required.
• At least 2 years experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Planners should be available to work nights and weekends when necessary to achieve specific deliverables, especially during the November/ December timeframe.

Physical Requirements
• Planners generally travel 3 to 4 weeks out of the year.
