Position Summary:
This candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and people management, P&L operating experience, analytical mindset, partner management and project management skills, and financial acumen with vision, creativity, and passion. He or she must have a high degree of ownership and integrity, attention to detail, excellent communication, and team approach in a fast-paced, fun, hard-working and customer-focused environment.
• Focus on customer needs, industry trends, and competitor insights to build and deliver compelling products and services consistent with Walmart mission and principles.
• Sets and communicate the vision for the business and evangelizes with other segments in Walmart.com and overall enterprise
• Responsible for determining, developing and driving execution of the Business Growth Strategy. Develop yearly and long range financial plans for the business. Lead assortment selection, build vendor relationships, and create ways to drive growth to top and bottom line • Partner with Digital Store Operations and other functions for day to day business and operations management in partnership with other functions. Identify and resolve defects, reduce waste and improve overall efficiency to reduce the operational cost of the business. Proactively identify and champion process improvements
• Manage key third-party partnership and lead RFP/RFQ processes, Supplier/Partner selection, and contract negotiations. Measures effectiveness of existing programs to help optimize and obtain the best ROI.
• Help prioritize, oversees and directs the creation and execution of new feature and product development roadmaps by collaborating with Digital Store Operations and Product Management teams.
• Thrive in a highly cross functional environment, both internal and external, including clients, distributors/reseller partners, finance, legal, compliance, site, treasury, international teams, strategic communications, customer service, accounting, marketing, PR, and transaction risk management
Qualifications:
• 6+ years Financial Services or related retail management or operations experience (Gift Card,experience is a plus)
• 4+ years of experience in a consumer-focused, e-commerce environment
• BA/BS required
