Position Summary:
This position has direct reposibility for the management of the enterprise portfolio for Walmart Technology. Additional responsibilities will include leading various strategic initatives across the technology division, driving process improvement and strategic execution.
Develops and maintains professional relationships with all project sponsors (for example, senior management) and stakeholders (for example, end users and suppliers) by educating sponsors and stakeholders on product and program requirements; creating the communication plan which determines communication level, frequency, detail and distribution of status updates; participating in area development meetings; and assisting teams in the resolution of technical and business issues.
Manages the execution of a small size project or aspects of a larger project by prioritizing critical issues for root-cause analysis; ensuring resolution of critical issues; monitoring progress versus plan; escalating complex or difficult issues; utilizing scope-change orders to track changes to the project; tracking expenditures and budgets; providing informational presentations; managing stakeholder expectations; holding self and project team accountable for project delivery; and developing performance reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and 2 years experience in information technology or related field
within the past 7 years OR 3 years experience in information technology or related field within the past 7 years OR Master's degree in Information
Technology, Computer Science or related field.
